Tim Barker is CEO of DataSift Inc. He joined the company in 2011 to serve as Chief Marketing Officer and then Chief Product Officer, focusing on product and market strategy. Tim has more than 20 years of experience in the enterprise software market, spanning CRM, collaboration and content management. During his career Tim founded three successful startups, most recently Koral, a content collaboration startup which was acquired by Salesforce. He holds four patents in the area of on-demand services.

Steven Pease brings an extensive background to DataSift in operational and financial management spanning 20 years. He joins the company from a consulting firm, where he was the acting CFO for over 25 emerging technology companies in a wide range of industries, most notably SaaS. Steven has guided his companies in generating substantial growth, the financing of more than $50M in debt and equity, and through several successful exits. He also has general management experience, having run a $40M retail manufacturing company. Earlier in his career, Steven was the Controller for pets.com, a poster company for the original dot.com boom.
Chief Technology Officer
Lorenzo Alberton introduced solid development, QA, deployment, communication and monitoring processes into an early-stage DataSift, transforming and growing the engineering department and designing and implementing many critical components of the platform. His expertise lies in large-scale software architectures, low-latency platforms, machine learning, databases, efficient algorithms and data structures, topics he often talks about at international conferences. For the past 10+ years Lorenzo has been working with large enterprise companies in Italy, US and UK, in high-visibility projects affecting millions of users in different domains, from Television and Communication (BBC, Channel 5, Cable & Wireless, Dennis Publishing), to Finance and Betting (Ladbrokes, Betfair, Interactive Investor), Manufacturing and Internet Security (AVG).

Pier leads DataSift’s global customer facing functions, focused on driving customer adoption, customer success and growing the company’s revenues globally. As a SaaS pioneer, Pier brings 20+ years of international sales experience from companies such as Adaytum, Cognos, Business Objects, Right90, and Steelwedge. Throughout his career he has focused on customer success, rapid market and revenue growth, helping Adaytum grow from $1m to $64m, SAP Business Objects grow its EPM revenues by 82% year on year, IBM Cognos double its revenues in one of its historically low performing regions.
Senior Vice President Agency & Ad Tech
Jerry Ronaghan is SVP of Agency & Ad Tech at DataSift Inc., having joined the company in 2015 to increase the organization’s focus on the global advertising ecosystem. In his previous role, Jerry worked for Dun & Bradstreet, where he was the co-founder of their Audience Solutions business, a B2B programmatic media data provider that delivered solutions to both ad-tech partners and enterprise customers in the technology, finance and publishing verticals. In addition, he founded D&B’s Innovation Lab, a new business incubator that delivered significant new revenue growth and product lines over a three-year period.
Senior Vice President Marketing
Zuzanna is responsible for driving all the aspects of DataSift’s marketing strategy. A marketing leader with 15+ years of experience, Zuzanna most recently led brand and marketing for Huddle, the leader in cloud collaboration for the enterprise and government. Former published sociologist, Zuzanna co-founded Custard, a consultancy specializing in digital media and mobile. Its client list boasted innovative startups such as AdMob (now Google) as well as top global brands, including Disney, Nokia and Garmin. Her previous experience spans working with 50+ companies across software, hardware, mobile, telecommunications & networking and engineering.
