Media Strategies for LinkedIn Engagement Insights FAQ
All your questions about Media Strategies for LinkedIn Engagement Insights – answered.
What’s the difference between PYLON for LinkedIn Engagement Insights and the Media Strategies API?
The new Media Strategies API creates predefined reports based on successful work for agency projects and best practice data science, including Natural Language Processing and machine learning so that agencies can get the answers they need faster. No data science expertise are required - agencies simply have to type in keywords, select the audience segments required and the API does all the work for them. The results are easily understood, presented in simple human-readable lists that can be integrated into internal media planning tools. We’ve effectively put data science in a box so that agencies can benefit from the output without needing the analytical expertise and developer resources.
Although the Media Strategies API can be used to build common, predefined reports more quickly, it does not cover all the analysis that is possible from the available data. The raw PYLON for LinkedIn Engagement API should be used to build unique, more complex insights for clients. Unlike the Media Strategies API, using PYLON for LinkedIn Engagement Insights requires technical expertise, including data model and data science knowledge, as well as developer resources.
